Strive Always for Awareness

What I would tell the
next generation is to remember the importance of, and strive always for
awareness. Be conscious of what's going on around you and within you. If
you don't know who you are, how you function and what you're feeling, you
cannot achieve success in life. Anger when not addressed as a problem from
within, will lead to hate, unhappiness and destruction of self and others.
Before you accomplish your goals in life you must know and conquer your
fears. Awareness leads to change. Here is anexample: if a person fears
authority but is brilliant and capable on the job, then he would simply
have to address and conquer his fear of authority, allowing him to get
along and get ahead in his life. If, instead of this, he covers his fear
with a defiant and negative attitude, he will never get ahead and experience
success. Never run away from acknowledging what you're really feeling.
To deny your vulnerabilities is not brave but rather cowardly. If we cannot
know and love our real selves we cannot have a satisfying relationship
to others and to life.
